2026 MAWWG-NEWAWWG Joint Meeting
The National Association of Wetland Managers (NAWM) and NEIWPCC have teamed up in cooperation with EPA Regions 1, 2, and 3 to host this year’s meeting. The 2026 Joint Meeting of MAWWG and NEBAWWG will be an opportunity to foster continued collaboration across EPA Regions 1, 2, and 3.
The meeting will be held on October 27th – 29th, 2026 at the Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center located in Pocono Manor, PA. Information on the meeting agenda, registration, accommodations, and more is available below.

- Learn about new or updated programs, projects, regulations, data sources & policies
- Exchange knowledge and experiences on wetland programs, strategies, methods & tools
- Network, collaborate, and build partnerships across states/regions
We encourage MAWWG and NEBAWWG members to attend the meeting in person to get the most out of the meeting presentations, participate in the field trip, enjoy the Poconos in the fall, and benefit from the networking and collaboration opportunities that in-person interactions can foster. However, if you are unable to travel to Pennsylvania, we will offer a listening-in option to attend remotely. Please use the registration form below and choose the virtual attendance option. If costs are a barrier to attending in person, consider applying for a travel scholarship as described under “Travel Assistance” below.
Agenda
The meeting will consist of a full day of sessions on Tuesday (10/27/26), followed by morning sessions and an afternoon field visit on Wednesday (10/28/26) and a half day of morning sessions on Thursday (10/28/26).
Registration
All members and partners of MAWWG and NEBAWWG are invited to attend the 2026 Joint Meeting and there is no registration fee. Please register by September 4, 2026.
Accommodations
A block of rooms is available at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center for meeting attendees. The hotel will honor the prevailing government lodging rate at $110/night. Rooms are available in the block for Monday night 10/26/26 through Wednesday night 10/28/26.

Travel Information
If you are driving to the meeting, Kalahari Resort and Convention Center offers complimentary parking on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Hotel Northampton is also conveniently located 0.3 mile from the Northampton Train Station (located at 170 Pleasant St., Northampton, MA 01060). The train station is served by the Amtrak Valley Flyer Route, which connects Northampton to New Haven, CT. From New Haven, additional Amtrak lines are available to continue on to New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and more locations in the northeast and mid-Atlantic.
If you plan to fly to the meeting, the closest airport is Bradley International Airport, located between Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA, and approximately 38 miles from the Hotel Northampton. Bradley Airport hosts nonstop flights to and from many destinations in the northeast and mid-Atlantic, including Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Richmond, and Washington, DC.
