The Region 5 Tribal Wetland Working Group (TWWG) held a Wetland Vegetation Identification Training in the summer of 2024. The training included online interactive sessions to review the basics of plant identification, followed by a four one-day field training sessions held in Michigan, Wisconsin, northern Minnesota, and southern Minnesota.

The online training sessions provided an Introduction to Plant Identification, covering the basics of plant identification and setting attendees up for success in future field plant identification classes.
