Thank you to everyone who joined us for the EPA Region 9 Wetland Program Development Grant Virtual Conference. We watched a diverse range of presentations from 2019 Wetland Program Development Grantees who shared information, lessons learned, and findings from nine unique wetland program grant funded projects. Topics included: using technology to expand wetland program capacity; developing riparian management goals; development of a tribal wetland program plan; conservation of key landscapes; wetland mapping, management and partner engagement; coral restoration decision-making; regional monitoring plans; and tools for assessing stream ecosystem function. The conference concluded with an open discussion regarding Wetland Program Grant Applications for 2022-2023.
